Danielle Hohm, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner/Founder
Danielle (Dani) started Family Wellness Clinic in November of 2019. She is a board certified nurse practitioner and career nurse of over 14 years. She has worked in a variety of specialties and positions, including cardiology, ICU, surgical/recovery, and management. Dani graduated with her Bachelor's in Nursing from SDSU in 2009 and her Master's in Nursing from Clarkson College in Omaha, NE in April 2019. Her experience in the professional field fostered the dream of starting her own clinic to be able to serve the community of Brookings on a direct, personal level. ​

Jodi Olson, FNP-C
Family Nurse Practitioner

Jodi Olson is a board-certified nurse practitioner and career nurse with over 10 years of experience. The majority of her nursing experience is in emergency medicine. She graduated with her RN degree in 2010 and obtained her Master’s in Nursing from University of North Dakota in 2022. She is passionate about providing great care and education, and feels it is important to meet patients where they are in their personal health journey, which fits well with the care model at Family Wellness Clinic.
Janine Bassett, CNP, PMHNP, PhD
Family Nurse Practitioner, Mental Health Certified

Janine completed her Master of Science Degree from South Dakota State University in 2004 and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has been providing care as a Family Nurse Practitioner for 20 years. For the past 14 years, she has worked in primary care, urgent care, women’s health, prenatal care, and psychiatric and mental health care to Native Americans at the Indian Health Clinic in Sisseton SD. In April of 2020, she completed the training required to prescribe medication-assisted treatment to patients with opioid use disorder. In May 2022, she completed the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Certification program at South Dakota State University and is now also board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
